Catch-22

I just finished reading this book and I highly recommend it to anyone that might be interested in reading a satirical novel. I honest am not the type of person that reads books often.
But this book kept me pretty interested from beginning to end. It's basically about a bombardier (Yossarian) in the army set in WW2, he is trying everything in his power to get dismissed or grounded because he is afraid of dying. He believes that everyone is out to get him and everyone is trying to kill him. There's 2 problems with that though, Colonel Catchart keeps raising the amount of missions that each person needs to fly in order to get grounded. The second one is Catch-22 which you'll learn about in the book. Anyways, Yossarian and his army buddies all behave in humorous ways trying to employ their hair-brained ideas on how they will get grounded.
Almost each main character has an entire chapter dedicated to them, although it all compiles into one story which is probably my favorite thing about this novel. I got a few laughs from this book so it's well worth the read.

Katy Perry's knockers on Sesame Street.

LOL, I just watched the Katy Perry on Sesame Street video and I cannot believe that they think this would have been acceptable for children. Her boobs are BARELY covered and while she runs down the street she jiggles quite a bit. I guess it's a good thing that producers decided not to air it.

Final Fantasy 13

Well, I just completed FF13 and I would love to share some of my opinions of this game. I still haven't gotten ALL of the trophies but I am slowly on my way to obtaining all of them and unlocking the coveted Serah theme for my PS3.

First of all, this game is graphically BEAUTIFUL (PS3 version). Most of the game music went perfectly along with the environment, ie. running around the forest as Vanille while "The Sunleth Waterscape" is playing in the background. I still cannot get over how gorgeous that part of the game is. Overall, the characters are a little transparent I think, unlike in FF10 where I feel that each and every character had a lot of depth. I really felt that I knew very little about most of the playable characters after I had finished the game. On the other hand, the storing itself is quite compelling, and even though some of the characters are lacking development. Lightning is easily my favorite character because of her serious but caring nature. At the beginning of the game she was very independent, very quiet, very self-centered but at the end of the game she shows a lot of worry and care for her comrades.

Overall I would easily give this game a 9/10! Definitely one of my favorite Final Fantasy games based on just graphics alone. Square Enix has really done it again and I cannot wait until FF15.

Hey guys

Well this is my first post in my blog and I am so excited yay! Well anyways, I'm starting nursing school in 3 weeks, I'm so nervous and excited at the same time. My boyfriend and I are supposed to close on our house on Oct. 8, so I can't wait for that. Unfortunately the stupid roommates that we have now are coming along with their three cats... which I'm allergic too. The will only have to pay like six hundred bucks a month what a joke. But whatever it's 600 dollars per month that will come in handy when I'm in nursing school. Well I'll keep this page updated with news.
